This month, we were pleased to welcome two new talented IT interns to the Yaacomm team. Training interns to become IT professionals is something we value highly and have been doing with pleasure for years; we are keen to pass our knowledge and experience on to the next generation. That’s why we offer vocational and university students the opportunity to develop into iOS, Android, and web programmers and work with us on innovative solutions. It’s also great that we can offer a career at Yaacomm when there’s a good fit!
Lunch and learn
Interns are immediately involved in processes to deploy smart technology for applications that help our clients reach and communicate with their audience. This week, for instance, we had an interesting lunch session about the use of modern databases, AI applications, and data visualisation.
Sharing experiences
We often hear from vocational courses that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find matching internship companies. Lack of guidance, time, suitable projects, or space: companies can have various reasons for not opening up internship positions.
